Dreamy Merida, Mexico Wedding

Valeria and Alejandro's wedding in Merida, Mexico, was a beautiful day filled with so much joy. I have known this pair for many years, so being a part of this moment was a true honor. 

From the quiet, emotional moments while getting ready to the anticipation before the ceremony, the day unfolded in the most genuine way. Photographing the wedding day with a documentary-style approach allowed each moment to be preserved exactly as it happened, without interruption, letting the story speak for itself.

AND WHAT A BEAUTIFUL STORY IT WAS!

Merida’s charm provided the ideal backdrop, blending historic beauty with modern sophistication and elegance. Their wedding ceremony took place in an iconic catholic church. After that, everyone moved over to a charming little restaurant, Nakuh Cocina de la Selva Maya, for the reception. It was perfect from start to finish. Even as the weather shifted, the atmosphere remained warm and intimate, which only added to the charm of the day.

The couples and the entire vendor team were a huge reason this day was such a success. The planning team was incredible and handled the rain like a champ, the details came together so perfectly, there was so much love radiating from everyone there, and the dance floor was BOOMING (please scroll down to check out the dance floor photos if you haven’t already!
